[The sound of silence for a measure of five seconds. Then a beep.]

That's fine.

[While Rude gathered clothes, Rufus moved to the center of the bed to get comfortable once more. He laid on his side as he watched him but he didn't say anything or try to stop him.]

[looking_sharp]

[Once the room is tidier, Rude pauses to kick off his shoes. And socks. These are both set outside of the bedroom, to prevent too much potential smell. Only then does he rejoin Rufus.]

Any chance you have some lotion?

There.

[Rufus pointed to a bottle on one of the bedside tables as he rolled over onto his stomach, propping himself up on his elbows but he didn't move to grab it.]

I think the bottle may be nearly empty but there should be enough in it.

[looking_sharp]

[They haven't been here long. Rude has questions. He asks none. He moves to grab the bottle before moving onto the bed and straddling Rufus's hips. Then he puts his hands on Rufus's back, trying to get him to lay down flat again.]

Stay still.

[Rufus was very aware of the weight of Rude straddling his hips, laying on his stomach with his arms crossed in front of him once more as he got comfortable.

He couldn't get enough of how Rude ran his hands over his skin, the way he found every sensitive pressure point. He wanted to feel more of it.]

My lower back needs attention.

[looking_sharp]

Of course.

[And Rude takes a moment to get some lotion on his hands before putting them on Rufus's lower back and working the lotion into the skin. His fingers are good at finding the knots, and strong as he works at the tight spots.]

Should have had me do this for you before we got here.

[Clearly Rude didn't help the boss like he should have. Future him needed to get his act together.]

You would do my shoulders on the good days but never my back like this.

[The sores along his chest and side often hurt too much to allow for much contact aside from changing bandages. It wasn't something he was going to go into detail about right now.

He let out a soft moan when Rude's hands found a particularly sensitive spot, unable to keep from shuddering slightly.]

[Interesting. Both the lack of proper massages and the noise. Good thing Rude is used to tuning out reactions like that, on spy jobs. He does pay some extra attention to that spot, given the moaning.]

We can do this regularly if you need.

I would like that. You're very talented with your hands.

[Rufus shifted slightly against Rude without thinking about it, glancing back at him.]

You seem to know just how to touch me.

[looking_sharp]

You sound like Reno.

[Rude doesn't even take it in an inappropriate way. Just closes his eyes and works the muscles by touch alone.]

Tseng would be good at this too, I think. Single minded with a problem.

[ambitiousblond]

[Rufus let out a laugh at that, amused by the comparison.]

He is good at it but your hands are better at working out the knots.

[Rude's hands are larger and stronger, Rufus is practically melted under Rude.]

I work with my hands more. Strength and dexterity.

{They both matter for martial arts. plus he's got hte muscle and the leverage to make use of it.]

Are there other bad spots I've missed?

[Rufus rolled over slightly so he could look at Rude. His body felt limp and his mind slightly hazy.]

No, I think you've gotten everywhere. But we'll do this again soon.

[He rolled over so he was laying on his back under Rude, looking up at him.]

[Of course they will. Rude doesn't mind it. So he nods and moves to get off of Rufus.]

Take a shower, make sure to have a protein rich breakfast. Get yourself some sports drinks too, for hydrating after.

Send Tseng some recommendations and he'll make the arrangements to have it for me.

[He doesn't handle the logistics of grocery shopping. It was easier to just let Tseng handle all of that instead of having to learn to do the whole grocery store thing.

He reached out to rest a hand on Rude's arm for a moment as he sat up a little.]

Thank you, Rude.

[looking_sharp]

Of course, sir.

[Of course he expects Tseng would already have some ideas.

But then he's pausing, because of the hand on his bare arm. Behind his sunglasses his eyes go to the hand, looking. Considering. And he doesn't pull away.]

You're welcome. I'm here to serve.

This isn't really in your job description but it's appreciated.

[He moved his hand after a moment as he sat up before moving off of the bed. He didn't think twice about starting to strip off on his way to the bathroom, tossing things off to the floor before looking back at Rude.]

We'll do this tomorrow morning. I'll meet you at six.

[looking_sharp]

Of course sir. And use the hamper.

[He can't help but pick up the clothes that are discarded.]

Eat breakfast before I come to collect you. Something light.

[ambitiousblond]

[Rufus paused at the door, looking at Rude. He kept forgetting the hamper was a thing but after a moment he held out his hand for the clothes.]

I can take that, the hamper is in the bathroom.

[looking_sharp]

[He's definitely wearing too little. And it's awkward. Rude keeps his eyes on the middle of Rufus's forehead as he hands the clothes over.

Blessings on the shades, and not even the first time in his life that he's felt that.]

Is there anything else, sir?

[ambitiousblond]

No, I'm just going to take a shower, eat something for breakfast, and then go to the office. I'll be fine from here and I'm sure you have things to do.

[He gave Rude a slight smile before vanishing into the bathroom, turning the water on.]

[looking_sharp]

[That… was weird. But Rude takes a deep sigh, centers himself again, and heads on out, making sure to lock the door when he goes. That was just a very strange experience.]
