[ah, there he goes. after a moment of watching his steady, even breathing, Elena rises from her seat to better tuck the blankets around him, taking the book from his side.

she'll stay a little longer before leaving, but when she does, Elena ensures his sunglasses are nearby for when he awakens later.]
